How will my plants be delivered?
All our plants are sent bare-root, washed of any soil, bagged and then boxed for delivery. Potting up your plant is easy – just follow these simple instructions.
Postage & Packing charges
UK from £4.99 (free on orders over £100*)
For heavy or bulky items the shipping is £12.99
*Scottish Highlands & Islands, Channel Islands and Isle of Man may incure an additional shipping charge, we will notify you before proceeding with your order.
Regret we do not currently ship to Northern Ireland or the European Union.
Collections
You are welcome to pre-order from this website for collection from Bennetts Water Gardens during normal opening hours, just select Collection as the Shipping option during checkout (there is no Shipping charge for Collections). We will let you know when your order will be ready to collect. Please note plants ordered through this website are bare-root and will require potting.
Local Delivery
For orders over £75 we can offer free doorstep deliveries to the following postcode areas; DT1, DT2, DT3, DT4 and DT5.

Timescales
We endeavour to get your order to you within 5 working days subject to availability. Soon after placing an order you should receive confirmation by email.
As soon as your plants have been lifted and are ready for despatch they will be with you within 1-2 working days (UK mainland). We mainly use Royal Mail, but depending on your location and contents of your order may use an another courier.
You should receive an email again when your order has been shipped with an estimated delivery date, please make sure someone is available to sign on receipt of your order, or indicate a safe place for delivery on your order notes.
At the beginning of the season (March to May) different varieties of plant will become available at different times. In these cases we will despatch when the whole of your order is available.
Orders are usually sent out early in the week to allow time for delivery before the weekend.
Deliveries to UK offshore, Scottish Highlands & Islands will take longer.
Returns
Return of plants; as a perishable item we do not accept returns of plants. If you are unhappy with your plants please send us photos of them by email within 24 hours of receipt of your order, quoting your order number, and we will try to help.
Return of other items; you have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods. Please read our terms and conditions for more information.
Damaged goods; if an item arrives damaged please send us photos of them by email within 24 hours of receipt of your order, quoting your order number, so this can be investigated and resolved quickly for you.
Wrong items; if you received a wrong item, please send us photos of them by email within 24 hours of receipt of your order, quoting your order number, so we can get replacements sent out to you.
